On Saturday 27 july 2013 Colonsay - probably the smallest island to host a rugby tournament - will host the Second Colonsay Rugby Festival. The first Festival took place on 28th of July 2012 and was a fantastic success. Four men's and two women's teams took party in a great weekend of rugby and dancing. The men's winners were Oban Lorne, the women's were the Warthogs from Edinburgh and Stirling. So we are now working on the second festival on 27th July 2013. Dee Bradbury, President of Oban Lorne RFC, said: "Thanks for producing the most fabulous weekend of rugby. The entire weekend was full of hospitality, good spirit and great rugby." David Johnson from the Colonsay Brewery, one of our key sponsors: "For Colonsay this was a first and very exciting. It was great to have so many islanders and visitors to the island as spectators. Thank you also to the many players who helped to tidy up on the Sunday morning."
